Last weekend I had the opportunity to go visit Jake in San Diego. I had planned on going for the Marine Corps Ball, but sadly that got canceled for Jake. It's Cali though...there were plenty of other things to do!
The day after I got there, Jake, his friend Crane, and I took a lovely tour of some boats and submarines on the bay. It was pretty neat, and I was soo excited that I got to tour the boat that was used in Pirates of the Caribbean!

While looking at the boats, we started to get rained on. So it was under Jake's hoodie I went! Gotta protect the hair!
There were some interesting things on the streets! This guy painted his whole body, including his teeth, silver. But he looked just like a statue, it was crazy!
The day before I had to leave we also toured the Midway! That thing was bigger than I thought. If I hadn't have been with two marines my guess is that I probably would've gotten lost. This is Jakey chillin in some kind of plane thinking he's totally cool.

He was so sad the day he had to go back to base :( I tried to be positive...didn't really work though!
I didn't take too many pictures but we did other things besides go on boats...well everything that we could do without having a car. We walked around downtown by the bay, went to the movies to see Immortals (which was such a good movies - besides all of the blood), walked around the mall, hungout with his buddy Crane, and just enjoyed being with eachother:) Miss him so much!
